We're back...

Oh what a wonderful vacation. I love Hilton Head Island. It is so pretty.
Unfortunately it is also really, REALLY HOT!

I am somewhat happy to be home but I am already missing the ocean.

We stayed at the Disney Resort down there (since we are in the vacation club), it was wonderful. There weren't any character or anything like that, but there were some hidden Mickey's and it was the experience you would expect from a Disney Family Hotel.

I took about 1000 photos. Seriously. Joel took about 30 and Lisa and Evan took less than that. I am telling you, if you want photos of your vacation...just take me.

I will start sharing some right now.

The first night before we checked into the resort we stayed at a hotel in Hilton Head (not on the Island). Out back was a small lagoon. We found this guy swimming around in it. He was big and kind of scary. I have never seen an Alligator in the wild before. He was about 6' long. Beautiful creature though.

Here are the girls outside of the resort when we arrived. Monet is on the left and Caitlin is on the right. Aren't they cute.

This is the boardwalk that we walked across everyday to get to the pool. Our building was in the front of the resort. The buildings on the left are rooms and in the forest are more buildings with rooms. On the other side of the trees was the pool, the dock, and more rooms.

What a crazy weekend...

One more post before we go away.

This past weekend was crazy but fun. On Saturday we went to Rockford and I photographed my cousin's wedding. (My stepmother's niece). Here are some photos from that.

Some of you may know that i used to photograph weddings (it is certainly not one of my favorite things to do), but i still do it for friends and family. Plus, i like money!

It was a lot easier shooting with my digital camera, i have to admit i don't hate it as much as i used to.

I have two more weddings coming up in the next year.

It's going to be a crazy week!

We are down to one week till we leave for Hilton Head...i can't wait. Unfortunately it is going to be a 'crazy week'. There is so much that needs to be done before we can leave at home and at work.

Sorry it's been awhile since I've been on. Things have been crazy. We leave for Hilton Head in 10 days...i can't wait, i am seriously in need of a vacation! Needless to say, i have a lot to get ready for at work and trying to keep (get) the house clean. I want to come home to a clean house after vacation.

I just thought i would share of picture of our trio all together, we don't see this very often.

Here is another layout from our Disney trip. We stayed at Saratoga Springs across from Downtown Disney. It was nice, but really big.

Another layout...

Here is another layout from our Disney trip in December. This is Monet inside of Bruce's mouth. I used MM chipboard and then distressed it with the Tim Holtz texture hammer and then inked it. I used my crop-a-dile to cut out the 'shark bites'. I really like how this turned out.

Hopefully i will have more uploading luck tomorrow and i can share another layout.
